James Sproul - Council Chair
James has been a member of Malaga United Methodist Church for over 25 years, serving as the Financial Secretary and Administrative Council Chair for more than two decades. He values the loving and friendly congregation and is passionate about reaching out to the community, offering a Bible-based, Christ-centered environment for spiritual growth.
Albert Emenheiser - Treasurer
Albert and his wife Judy have been attending Malaga United Methodist Church since 2002. He became the church treasurer in 2014 and enjoys the church’s balance of traditional and contemporary worship. Albert participates in Couples Bible Study and retreats, contributing to the financial health of the church and community.
Robert Cooper - Finance Chair
Robert, a member since the mid-1990s, serves as the Finance Chair. He helps manage church finances, overseeing income, expenses, and financial reporting. He is actively involved in church activities like assisting in the kitchen during events, helping with yard sales, and ensuring the church’s energy use is efficient.
Paul Gramm - Trustee President
Paul is a certified lay servant who helps fill in for the pastor when needed. As Trustee President, he oversees building maintenance and is involved in the Staff Parish Relations Committee and Christian Education teams. Paul teaches Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, focusing on trust in Jesus. He’s also engaged with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters program.
Gloria Winfield - Chair Staff Pastor Parish Relations
Gloria plays a key role in managing the relationship between staff and the congregation.
Nora McDonald - Lay Leader
Nora has been a member since 1962 and has held multiple leadership positions in the church. She has been the Trustee Chair, Sunday School teacher, and overseen Vacation Bible School. Nora is also involved with the Youth Group and was previously a part of running Martha's Kitchen, the church’s food pantry.
Joyce Miller - Lay Member to Conference / Chair Nurture, Outreach, and Worship Team
Joyce has been attending Malaga United Methodist Church for over 50 years. As the Lay Member to the New Jersey Annual Conference, she is dedicated to volunteering and supporting church activities. Joyce is involved in preparing weekly bulletins, serving meals during Vacation Bible School, decorating for Christmas, and arranging altar flowers.

Ethel Jo serves as a Reserve Member to the Conference.
